Arriving in 1925 in Megève, Henry Jacques le Même realizes for the Baroness Noémie de Rothschild this first alpine chalet. For her, he invented a chalet like farms but with a very comfortable interior, with large windows on the landscape, a real fireplace, a ski room, upstairs bedrooms, and downstairs for the domestic, the Alpine chalet was born. During this period he produced over two hundred alpine chalets in Megève and surroundings.
